About the Role:
We’re looking to hire a TA heavy role, with 4-6 years of experience, who can also handle admin.
Who should apply?
Any young enthusiast with minimum 4 years in the HR industry, who can take accountability for hiring.
Key Responsibilities:
Identifying Talent Needs: Collaborating with hiring managers to understand the specific requirements for roles within the design team (e.g., interior designers, project managers, architects, design assistants, etc.).
Sourcing Candidates: Actively sourcing candidates from various channels, including job boards, social media, industry events, professional networks, and design schools or universities. They may also target passive candidates who are not actively looking for work but could be a good fit.
Building a Talent Pool: Maintaining a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future positions, especially given the highly specialized nature of interior design.
Screening and Interviewing: Reviewing resumes and portfolios to assess candidates’ experience, technical skills (e.g., CAD, 3D modeling), and design sensibility. Conducting initial interviews to evaluate candidates’ cultural fit, communication skills, and professional capabilities.
Collaboration with Hiring Managers: Working closely with hiring managers and senior designers to align on hiring needs, candidate expectations, and any unique project requirements. Ensuring candidates have both the technical expertise and creative vision needed.
Managing the Recruitment Process: Overseeing the entire recruitment process from initial screening to job offer, including negotiating salaries, benefits, and contracts, while ensuring compliance with relevant labor laws and industry standards.
Branding and Promotion: Representing the employer brand to attract top talent. This may involve promoting the design firm’s work, values, and culture through social media or networking events to attract candidates who resonate with the brand.
Staying Current with Industry Trends: Keeping up to date with the latest trends in interior design, as well as talent acquisition best practices, to ensure they are identifying candidates with relevant skills and experience for the ever-evolving design market.
Diversity and Inclusion: Ensuring the hiring process is inclusive, promoting a diverse range of talent, and supporting the organization’s commitment to fostering a balanced and creative team.
Onboarding Support: Assisting with the onboarding process to ensure new hires transition smoothly into their roles and become productive quickly, while also helping them align with the company’s culture and vision.
