About the Role:


As Lead - Talent Acquisition at Plum, you won’t just be filling roles—you’ll be a strategic talent partner driving hiring excellence across functions. You’ll take end-to-end ownership of Plum’s hiring efforts, working closely with senior leadership and function heads to proactively identify hiring challenges, streamline processes, and bring in high-caliber talent that aligns with our mission. Who should apply?

  • 3-5 years of proven work experience in a talent acquisition role at a start up/product company.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities and deadlines.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with candidates and hiring managers across levels.

  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills to secure top talent in a competitive market.


    Key Responsibilities:

  • End-to-end ownership of hiring across all functions, ensuring a seamless recruitment experience from sourcing to onboarding. -

  • Act as a strategic talent partner—not just a recruiter—working closely with function leads to proactively identify hiring challenges and devise effective solutions. -

  • Develop and execute innovative hiring strategies, leveraging job boards, social media, professional networks, and referrals to attract diverse, high-quality candidates -

  • Conduct in-depth interviews, and assess candidates for both technical proficiency and cultural fit.

  • Manage the interview process end-to-end, including scheduling, feedback collection, and making hiring recommendations. -

  • Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships with hiring managers, senior leadership, and cross-functional teams to align hiring goals with business objectives. -

  • Negotiate and extend job offers, ensuring competitive and compelling compensation packages.

  • Own and be assessed on five key hiring metrics: 1. Time to hire 2. Offers released 3. Quality of hire 4. Candidate experience 5. Pipeline conversion Future growth opportunities in this role include managing a team or transitioning into a business partner role within the company.
