About the Role:


We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Intern to join our HR & Operations team. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our sourcing and recruitment efforts for writers and editors, as well as assisting in other in-office hiring and operational tasks. This internship will provide you with valuable hands-on experience in HR operations, recruitment, and general office management & comes with a pre-placement offer.

Key Responsibilities:


1. Sourcing and Recruitment: Collaborate with the HR team to identify staffing needs for the Operations & supply chain. Assist in creating job descriptions and job postings for writers, editors, and other relevant positions. Utilise various sourcing channels, including job boards, social media, and professional networks, to attract potential candidates. Screen resumes and conduct initial interviews to evaluate candidate qualifications. Coordinate interview schedules and communicate with candidates throughout the recruitment process. Assist in conducting reference checks and background verifications. Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in our HR system.

2. Onboarding and Orientation: Support the onboarding process for new hires within the department. Coordinate training sessions and orientation programs. Ensure new employees have the necessary tools and resources to excel in their roles. Operational Support: Assist with various operational tasks within the department, including data entry, document management, and process improvements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and enhance operational efficiency.

3. General HR Support: Provide administrative support to the HR team, including file maintenance, scheduling, and document preparation. Assist in HR-related projects and initiatives as needed.
